ALTERNATE MARINE BIOTOXIN TECHNOLOGIES INVESTIGATION

Kingzett Professional Services (now Blue Revolution Consulting Group) lead a project for the BC Shellfish Growers Association in collaboration with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to explore the potential future use of the MIST Alert rapid screening test for PSP both in field settings and in a regulatory laboratory situation.   

The success of this new technology in screening for Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning indicates that this test  may be of use in streamlining and modernizing the current methodologies for testing for PSP.  The information from this project is confidential as per our agreement with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
